ABOUT TTFK

Tony Thomas began his study of karate in 1966 and received his black belt in 1970 in Charleston, SC. While a student at SC State University, he became a co-founder of the Bulldog Karate Club on campus from 1970 to 1974. During the four years, there were several hundred students involved in the club. Some of those students after graduation continued their training and eventually opened their own schools.

Tony graduated with a B.S. degree in Health and Physical Education and begin teaching Physical Education in the public school system in Columbia in 1974. He received his Masters of Education degree from Cambridge College in 1997. He retired from teaching at the end of the 2006-07 school year to commit full time to his martial arts business.​

Tony and his wife Brenda opened their school in 1997 primarily to give children an opportunity to learn life skills while learning how to defend themselves. He is an excellent teacher and motivator for children, teens and adults, and is totally committed to making sure his students become excellent students in Life.
